About Georgina
CONFIDENCE INSIDE. IMAGE OUT.
More Than Twenty Years of Creativity, Education and Transformation
I have spent more than twenty years helping people change how they look, how they present themselves and, very often, how they feel about themselves.
My career has never followed only one path. I have been a salon owner, hairdresser, professional makeup artist, educator, technical trainer, online retailer, content creator, marketer, backstage stylist and business owner.
Today, all of that experience comes together through ETHOS by Georgina.
ETHOS may be the newest chapter of my work, but the philosophy behind it has been developing throughout my entire career: when our external image feels more aligned with who we are, it becomes easier to show up with confidence, communicate clearly and move forward.
ETHOS by Georgina
Bringing Every Part of My Experience Together
ETHOS is the natural evolution of everything I have learned through confidence work, hair and makeup, colour analysis, personal styling, professional education, business image, branding, visibility, photography, performance and digital coaching.
After working with people for more than two decades, I began to recognise the same pattern repeatedly. External changes can create immediate positive feedback. When your colours, hair, makeup, wardrobe or brand feel more aligned, you often stand differently, communicate differently and become more willing to take action.
That action creates evidence. Evidence begins to change belief. Repeated belief becomes part of identity.
This is the ETHOS Confidence Loop:
Alignment → Action → Evidence → Belief → Identity
ETHOS is not about turning someone into a different person. It is about removing the visual, practical and psychological noise that prevents them from expressing who they already are—and who they are becoming.
My work now includes confidence programmes, digital tools, personal-image experiences, colour and wardrobe alignment, business-image direction, photoshoot preparation, talks, interviews and educational content.
Confidence, Visibility and the Work I Do Today
Today I work at the meeting point between inner confidence and external expression.
I help people understand how confidence is built through action, evidence and self-trust, while also recognising the influence of image, colour, grooming, wardrobe, communication and personal branding.
This work has taken me into coaching, digital courses, business photoshoots, speaking events, podcasts, interviews and community conversations. It allows me to bring together the practical, creative, psychological and commercial understanding I have developed throughout my career.
Whether someone is preparing to appear on camera, repositioning a business, rebuilding confidence or simply trying to feel like themselves again, my intention remains the same: to help the outside support the person within.
Speaking, Workshops and Business Communities
Confidence, Visibility and Future-Self Alignment
My current ETHOS work also includes speaking to business communities and creating practical workshops that help people reflect, connect and take action.
For this businesswomen’s group in Paphos, I explored the relationship between health, wealth, happiness, confidence and the choices we make for our future selves. The conversation included visibility, pretty privilege, energy, alignment and what it means to live and lead without unnecessary regret.
I created a guided worksheet so the ideas would not remain abstract. Participants could examine where they were protecting their health and independence, where they might be hiding from visibility, what felt out of alignment and which small decision could move them closer to the life they want.
The purpose of speaking is not simply to inspire someone in the room. It is to give them a question, perspective or practical action they can carry back into their life and business.

Colour Analysis, Wardrobe and Brand Styling
Helping Your Image Reflect Who You Are Becoming
One of the central parts of my current work is helping people bring their personal image into alignment through colour analysis, wardrobe guidance and brand styling.
This is especially valuable for businesswomen, founders, coaches, creators and professionals who are becoming more visible through photographs, video, speaking, social media or a changing role. However, you do not need to own a business to benefit from it. This work is also for anyone who wants a considered makeover, a fresh start or greater clarity about how they want to present themselves.
Depending on the individual, the process can bring together:
- Personal colour analysis
- Hair and makeup direction
- Wardrobe review and styling
- Business and personal-brand alignment
- Photoshoot and camera preparation
- Practical guidance for shopping and getting dressed
The goal is never to disguise you or make you follow a rigid formula. It is to help you understand the colours, shapes and visual choices that support your features, personality, lifestyle and ambitions.
You should still look like yourself—just more aligned, intentional and ready to be seen.

On-Location Hair and Makeup in Dubai
Businesswomen’s Retreat · January 2026
In January 2026, I provided professional hair and makeup preparation for businesswomen attending a retreat in Dubai.
My role was to help each woman feel polished, comfortable and camera-ready for the retreat experience, professional photographs and content—while still looking recognisably like herself.
On-location work requires calm preparation, adaptability and an understanding of how hair and makeup will perform through a full day, different lighting and a demanding schedule. These quiet moments behind the scenes help someone enter the room, step in front of the camera or join an important conversation feeling more prepared.
Social Media, Marketing and Small-Business Visibility
Helping Good Work Be Seen
Alongside my hair and beauty career, I have developed practical experience in social media, content creation and marketing—first through my own businesses and later in support of other small businesses, including Meli Property Services Paphos.
Through HairCareCyprus and ETHOS by Georgina, I have learned how to create educational content, communicate offers, develop a recognisable online presence and build trust across websites, email and social media.
Working with small-business owners has shown me that visibility is rarely only a marketing problem. Many talented people understand their work but struggle to present it clearly. They may feel uncomfortable on camera, uncertain about their image or disconnected from their branding.
This is why I consider the complete picture: the person behind the business, their confidence, message, image, photography, content, visual identity and the experience they want their audience to receive.
A business becomes far more magnetic when its external presence genuinely reflects the person and values behind it.
The XNES Corporate Event · December 2025
When Hair Becomes Sculpture
In 2025, my mother Angela and I created four conceptual hair models for an XNES corporate event in Limassol. Each design was inspired by horoscope and zodiac symbolism.
This project gave me the opportunity to move beyond conventional styling and treat hair as a sculptural material.
One of my favourite creations was the Scorpio design. I constructed a dramatic scorpion-tail shape using strong wire and hair extensions, suspending it above the model’s head to create a powerful three-dimensional silhouette.
The design required imagination, structural planning and technical problem-solving. It needed to express the strength and intensity of Scorpio while remaining balanced and wearable for the model.
Projects like this remind me how much I love the point where beauty, character, storytelling and art meet.

Professional Dance and Stage Hair
Creative Work Designed to Move
I have also created multiple professional hairstyles for my friend Luka, an accomplished hip-hop dancer and choreographer, and his professional dance teams.
Stage hair must do far more than look impressive in a still photograph. It has to support the choreography, costume and character while remaining comfortable and secure through powerful movement.
This work calls for creativity, speed and a practical understanding of how hair behaves under stage lighting and performance conditions. Every style needs to look strong from the audience while staying sturdy enough for the dancer wearing it.

Backstage with Movimiento
Performance-Ready Hair in Limassol
For the Movimiento dance school’s end-of-year productions in Limassol, Angela and I have worked backstage preparing dancers’ hair for the stage.
These are fast-moving, high-energy environments involving performers, costumes, lighting, movement and long show days. Every hairstyle needs to be camera-ready, dance-worthy and secure.
Backstage work has strengthened my ability to remain calm, adapt quickly and deliver under pressure. There may be limited time and many things happening around you, but every performer still deserves to step onto the stage feeling prepared and confident.
Building HairCareCyprus
Twelve Years Online and Offline
For the past twelve years, HairCareCyprus has allowed me to bring professional hair knowledge directly to customers both online and offline.
Today, HairCareCyprus operates through both our physical boutique in Geroskipou, Paphos and our online store at HairCareCyprus.com, connecting professional guidance with carefully selected hair and scalp products.
Long before online consultations and educational social media became normal, I was using digital platforms to help people make better decisions about their hair.
HairCareCyprus grew into much more than an online shop. It became a place where customers could receive honest advice, learn about their hair and scalp, discover suitable products and understand why previous routines may not have worked.
Through HairCareCyprus, I have developed experience in e-commerce, customer consultations, hair and scalp education, product selection, merchandising, content creation, email marketing, social media and building digital customer journeys.
Working alongside Angela has also been a meaningful part of this journey. Together, we combine decades of professional experience with a very personal approach to service.
HairCareCyprus taught me how to translate hands-on expertise into accessible digital education—and that experience has been essential in creating ETHOS.
Technical Education for Hairdressers and Salon Owners
The Science Behind Beautiful Hair
My career developed further when I began educating professional hairdressers and salon owners as a technician and brand educator for Paul Mitchell, Mediceuticals and Moroccanoil Cyprus.
This work included the science and structure of hair, colour chemistry, product ingredients, hair damage and repair, scalp health, consultation, professional application and correct product selection.
My role went beyond demonstrating how to use a product. I needed to explain why it worked, who it was suitable for and how another professional could use that knowledge to achieve consistent results for clients.
This strengthened my belief that real expertise should make things clearer—not more confusing.
Whether I am teaching a hairdresser, advising a customer or coaching someone through an ETHOS programme, my role is to translate knowledge into practical action.
Teaching Hairdressing in Paphos
Helping Other People Build Competence and Confidence
I also taught hairdressing at a City & Guilds hair academy in Paphos.
Although the academy has since closed, this remains an important part of my professional journey. Teaching required me to take knowledge that had become instinctive and explain it clearly, logically and practically.
It strengthened my ability to demonstrate techniques, identify why something was not working and help another person build both competence and confidence.
Education taught me something I still believe deeply: people become confident when they understand what they are doing, practise it and begin collecting evidence that they can trust themselves.
That principle applies to hairdressing, personal image, business and life.
Professional Training and Qualifications
A Strong Technical Foundation
My creative work has always been supported by professional training and a deep respect for the technical side of the industry.
My professional background includes Toni & Guy hairdressing qualifications, a City & Guilds professional makeup qualification, advanced colour and haircare education, and continued technical development throughout my career.
My Toni & Guy training gave me a strong foundation in precision, shape, balance, suitability and professional standards.
My professional makeup training expanded my understanding of colour, facial structure, lighting and how makeup needs to perform differently in everyday life, photography, video and on stage.
Technique matters—but knowing how to adapt that technique to the individual matters even more.
Aphrodite Hair Salon
Salon Ownership, Leadership and the Beginning of My Philosophy
One of the earliest and most important chapters of my career was owning Aphrodite Hair Salon and leading a team across hair and beauty.
Running a salon taught me far more than how to create beautiful hair. It taught me how to lead people, understand clients, manage pressure, solve problems and create an experience in which someone feels genuinely seen and cared for.
Behind every appointment was a person bringing her personality, insecurities, lifestyle, expectations and hopes into the salon.
I learned that transformation is never only technical. A new colour, haircut or makeup look can change posture, expression and energy—but only when it still feels authentic to the person wearing it.
That understanding remains at the heart of my work today.
The Work Continues
Everything I have done—from salon ownership and professional education to backstage styling, e-commerce, marketing, branding and confidence coaching—has contributed to the work I now feel called to do.
I understand transformation technically, creatively, commercially and personally.
Most importantly, I understand that confidence is not something we either have or do not have.
Confidence is something we can create.
And sometimes the first step begins on the outside.
